Mixmonde: hatch hybrid animals with math
A math adventure game for kids aged 6 to 13. Explore worlds, solve story problems and hatch animals that are a mix of two real ones. Built on the US grade 1 to 7 standards and the Singapore Primary 1 to 6 math syllabus. Kindergarten and Grade 1 are free.
How it plays
- Meet a character. Wander a world and find someone guarding an egg. They have a story problem for you.
- Solve their problem. Miss once and you get a tip that uses that problem’s numbers. Miss twice and you see it worked out.
- Carry the egg home to the incubator on your farm.
- Warm it up by solving Nana Rosa’s problems until it’s ready.
- Hatch and guess. Where does it come from? Which two animals is it? Then give it a name.
- Feed, grow, dress up. Spend Sparks on food and upgrades, and win outfits with math challenges.
Problems are read, not raced: no timers, and a wrong answer costs time, never lives.

For parents and teachers
Every wrong answer maps to a named misconception, so the grown-ups’ dashboard shows where your child needs help and why, with tips to try at home. Kids never see prices or ads, and we never sell data.
Why Mixmonde exists
Mixmonde started at a kitchen table, when our creator’s kids were having a hard time with math at school. He built them a game with a world to explore, eggs to hatch, animals to care for, and math problems that explain why when you get one wrong.
